Custom Fixturing
We specialize in fabricating custom fixturing and work holding solutions.
We manufacture custom rotary (4th-axis) tombstone configurations to match many of today's top cnc manufacturers.
VMC Tombstone With Locating Pin holes and 1/2-13 tapped holes for easy plate alignment.
All of our tombstones are made from solid cast iron, which helps dampen harmonics and vibration when using HSM tool paths and aggressive machining strategies.
Custom rotary adapter plates to fit virtually any 4th-axis rotary on the market. All adapter plates have 1/2-13 through holes for t-slot nuts and locating boss in center.
We also offer custom spacing blocks to provide more table clearance for taller parts.
With all tombstone configurations, we offer a rigid tail stock and tail stock base plate. There is an oil impregnated bushing inside the bore hole for low friction rotation of rotary.
We also shrink fit a hardened drill bushing to each tombstone shaft to keep the shaft from being worn down. This hardened drill bushing and shaft rotate inside of the oil impregnated bushing.
All cast iron tombstones are precision machined and checked for perfect squareness and tolerances.
